A month has passed since my last post and it's been a very busy one here at Perioux! Kate put an advert up on one of the local sales pages for custom weather vanes and the orders flew in!
I've also just completed a custom order of a rose bush for a client's kitchen that they've just finished doing up. I enjoyed this build, it was something a bit different.
Barry is now finished! This build took me a long time ... all of those scales! (You can find more photos of the build here) So far there has been a lot of interest and we may have a local fishing lake interested in displaying it for us. Before that though, we're speaking to a local Art Gallery/Tea Room about maybe displaying some pieces - so if you're ever in Confolens, keep an eye out for Barry!!
In other news: The Peacock sculpture is off to it's new home in the next couple of weeks and I've started framing out a dragon sculpture - a photo page for this build will be available on the website soon!
We've got lots of ideas for what we'd like this business to be, both short term and long term, there will be a lot of work to do but also a lot of exciting times ahead! So watch this space!
